Shushan Khachatryan is project manager at Solarplaza since 2015. She oversees Asian markets at the Emerging Markets and Finance team. Shushan has over 7 years of experience in managing international projects in the arena of Renewable Energy/Solar PV, Water management, Higher Education and Hospitality Industries and working with international development organizations including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, EBRD and the European Commission. She received her MBA degree in The Netherlands, studied in Greece, Cyprus and Armenia.

Mr. Christophe Inglin is a veteran of the solar photovoltaics (PV) industry, with two decades of experience throughout the value chain from silicon ingots to turnkey solar power plants.
He is Managing Director of Energetix Pte Ltd, which designs, installs and maintains rooftop solar power plants and utility-scale solar farms.
Christophe also serves the PV sector as Vice Chairman of SEAS and in his capacity as trainer and speaker. Six times a year he conducts PV technology course for Green Mark Managers at Singapore’s Building & Construction Authority (BCA), and two to four times a year for GreenRE at Malaysia’s Real Estate & Housing Developers' Association (REHDA). He teaches in-depth workshops for the Asian Productivity Organisation, headquartered in Tokyo, and for SEAS in Singapore.

Mr. Hein Oomen is Head of Business Origination for Asia-Pacific at ENGIE Solar (Solairedirect). ENGIE (formally known as GDF SUEZ) is the world’s largest independent power producer with 113 GW of installed capacity. The Group employs more than 150,000 employees across 70 countries. As part of its ambition to become the global leader in the energy transition, ENGIE acquired solar developer Solairedirect in 2015 (now ENGIE Solar). Zia has more than 15 years of experience in financial advisory and debt arranging in power, infrastructure and resources sector, largely in developing markets in Asia. Currently, Zia heads SMBC's power, infrastructure and renewables business in the project finance space for Asia. Before SMBC, Zia has worked with Fuji Bank (now Mizuho) and PWC. Zia has an MBA from Asian Institute of Management, Manila, and an undergraduate degree in electrical and electronics engineering from India.

Baoqing Miao is Director Asia-Pacific at Voltiq B.V.. Baoqing has extensive experience in the renewable energy sector globally. In Asia, he worked as project manager at a leading renewable and environment consulting firm where he worked on a number of renewable power projects in China and Southeast Asia. At Voltiq, he has worked on numerous renewable energy debt and equity transactions across Europe, LATAM and Asia Pacific. He is currently leading the operations of Voltiq in the Asia Pacific region. Originally from China, he completed his bachelor in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore and Master in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics and Duke University.

Gary Zieff is an accomplished renewable energy expert with over 18 years’ experience in emerging and established energy markets. He is currently based in Vietnam serving as Principal Energy Advisor with USAID’s Vietnam Low Emission Energy Program (V-LEEP). He leads private sector engagement to improve access to financing and development expertise for Vietnamese renewable energy developers. Gary brings cross-functional project development experience to VLEEP through his prior project work in the US, Caribbean, East Africa, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia. Before joining Deloitte, Gary developed and implemented an investment strategy for a portfolio of one hundred MW’s of third party owned commercial and industrial (C&I) solar PV projects, led business development for a Thai EPC and managed large portfolios of investor owned PV assets.

Geoffrey Tan is a Managing Director at Overseas Private Investment Corporation(OPIC), and is OPIC’s Asia-Pacific regional representative based in Thailand. Mr. Tan has worked in emerging markets financing for over 20 years.

Since joining OPIC in 2003, he has worked primarily on power, infrastructure and access to finance. These projects have been across Latin America, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia.

Prior to OPIC Mr. Tan worked for the Chase Manhattan Bank (now JPMorgan Chase)in New York, Singapore and Hong Kong focusing on project and structured finance,and for Emerging Markets Partnership in Singapore on private equity infrastructure investments.

Mr. Tan is a graduate of Cornell University and the University of Virginia, and also attended the Université Catholique de Louvain in Belgium.

This has granted her industry recognition including being listed as a leader in renewables by 'The Lawyer Hot 100 Lawyers’, being named Solar Woman of the Year for MENA in 2014 and 2015 by the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA), being invited to the UK Government’s POWERful Women Group and named for the last 3 years as being one of the top 100 people in global wind power by ‘A Word About Wind’. She is on the Advisory Boards of the Climate Change Initiative, BPVA, MESIA and other key bodies.
Michelle advises across all renewable technologies including offshore and onshore wind, biomass, solar, hydro and biofuels, specialising in strategic advisory, M&A, equity raising and investments. Michelle's clients range from utilities to IPPs, private equity and infrastructure funds, institutional investors, banks and Governments.
Michelle advises Governments around the world on renewable policy. Most recently she has collaborated with the IFC in Pakistan, Egypt and Southeast Asia but she has also supported the renewable authorities of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Cambodia, the Philippines and Iran and is currently assisting in Algeria, helping them in the early stages of policy framework structuring. These engagements have been on a pro-bono basis to help develop markets and their global investment profile.
